Image cropper
Choose a free crop or a common aspect ratio, then move and resize the crop area on the image. The export is a PNG that can preserve transparency.
Image settings
Processing stays in this browser tab.
Choose and adjust a crop
Upload a JPEG, PNG, or WebP image. Choose Free, 1:1, 4:3, 16:9, or 9:16. Ratio presets are calculated against the source image’s actual width and height, then center the largest fitting crop. Drag the box to move it, use its corner handle to resize, or edit the crop coordinates in pixels.
Aspect ratio and composition
The crop preview shows which part of the original will be exported. A ratio preset changes the crop shape; it does not stretch the image. The final output dimensions match the selected pixel region. Arrow keys move a focused crop box by one pixel; hold Shift to move it by ten pixels.
Output and limits
The cropper exports PNG to retain transparency where possible. The source must be no larger than 50 MB, 40 megapixels, or 16,384 pixels on either side. The exported crop is checked for a real PNG signature before it can be downloaded.
Use the image resizer if you need a particular pixel size after cropping. If you are comparing file formats, see JPG vs PNG vs WebP.
